What its like to be a college Freshman during COVID-19

As many of us know COVID-19 took away many memories and once in a lifetime experiences. While many college and high school seniors are grieving the loss of graduation, as college freshman we are grieving too.

Personally I am a Freshman at Ball State University located in Muncie, IN. I moved out of my residence hall on March 18th. On March 18th, a not so typical Wednesday, I woke up already in a panic. I had to eat, shower, get my bike, pack, do final errands on campus, work, and turn in a 5 page paper. It was supposed to be a “normal”…
